Flag Hoisting Ceremony – Our Lady of Madhu Feast 🇱🇰✝️

On Friday, 19th July 2025, with great joy and devotion, the Sri Lankan Catholic community gathered at Marian Valley to hoist the traditional flagpole (Kodiya), marking the beginning of the 25th Jubilee Feast of Our Lady of Madhu.

Led by our faithful and the organizing committee, the flag was raised with prayers and blessings — a cherished Sri Lankan tradition that signifies the start of the feast. The morning concluded with the sharing of kiribath (milk rice) as we celebrated this joyful occasion in unity and faith.

🎉 Main Celebrant: Archbishop Mark Coleridge, joined by Sri Lankan priests and clergy from Marian Valley
