What a powerful Sunday at Breakthrough Centre! 🙌

This morning, Pastors Matt and Louise encouraged us to be an outward-focused church — a church that loves Jesus, loves people, enjoys fellowship, and carries the light of the Gospel into the world around us.

We are a family revival church, but revival doesn't stop within the four walls. It begins in our own hearts!

❤️ Are we hot for God? 🔥 Are we taking steps towards being on fire for Jesus? 🌎 Are we carrying His light into the atmospheres we walk into?

The church is called to preach the Gospel, build one another up, steward what God has given us, and be the salt and light of the earth. Sin has affected every person, but Jesus Christ is the answer the world needs!

We were reminded of the importance of speaking words that line up with the Word of God, staying united as the body of Christ, and becoming ministers of peace who bring reconciliation to others.

We must also guard the unity of the body of Christ! Just as a little yeast can work its way through the whole batch of dough, we must be careful not to allow things that are contrary to God's Word to take root among us. We are called to be a unified body, speaking truth, building one another up, and ensuring our words line up with the Word of God. Our words matter, and when we speak the Word of God, we release truth and life! 🔥

And one powerful challenge stood out:

TETHER YOURSELF TO WHAT MATTERS. TIE YOURSELF TO JESUS AND WHAT HE IS DOING!

If Jesus is building His Church, let's be people who are actively involved in advancing His Kingdom. What if your own flourishing is connected to getting involved in what God is doing on the earth?

The gates of hell will not prevail against His Church! 🙌

📖 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…” — Deuteronomy 8:18

Let's never forget the Lord who rescued us, provided for us, and brought us into His Kingdom. We can walk forward with confidence, knowing that our lives are in His hands and that He is faithful to provide.

PERSONAL REVIVAL. FAMILY REVIVAL. A CHURCH ON FIRE FOR JESUS!

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel…” 🌏

Sometimes that command can feel daunting. Where do we even start? But perhaps it starts by simply looking up and looking around. Look at the town you live in. Look at the people in your workplace. Look at your neighbours. Look at the small towns and communities around you.

There are people all around us who need hope. People who need to know that Jesus loves them. People who may never walk through the four walls of a church unless someone first takes the Gospel to them.

This weekend in Glenore Grove, we were reminded again of the power of simply going. Going outside the four walls.
Going into our communities. Going where people are.
Going with the message of Jesus. We don't have to start with the whole world. Start with who is right in front of you. Start with your street. Start with your town. Start with the place God has already put you.

Lift your eyes. Look around. Who can you reach?

Because the mission field isn't always somewhere far away. Sometimes it's right outside your front door. ❤️‍🔥

🔥 SUNDAY NIGHT GLENORE GROVE OUTREACH 🔥

People are hungry for the things of God—and it showed!

Around 60 people gathered for our Sunday night outreach, and many were touched by the presence of God and received a fresh fire to walk in everything He has for them! 🙌

It was a hot night in the hall, and it definitely wasn’t a “quick” service! 😅 Some had to leave before the service finished, but before they did, Pastor Matt caught them at the door and led 3 precious people to Jesus! ❤️‍🔥

John preached on the power of the Holy Spirit and the boldness He produces, sharing from his own experiences preaching on the streets in America and through jail ministry.

We’re already excited to start planning the next outreach! 🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who helped set up, prepare and make the night happen. We are so grateful for every hand that serves and helps build the Kingdom of God. 🙏

The hunger is there. The harvest is ready. And we’re just getting started! 🔥❤️‍🔥

🔥 BIG GOD. SMALL DEVIL.

What a powerful message from Pastor Matt Lalor this Sunday!

“Big God, Small Devil” — a reminder that as believers, we need to understand the authority and victory we have through Jesus Christ.

Pastor Matt shared 7 powerful Scriptures that remind us that the devil does not have the authority we sometimes give him:

📖 Luke 10:16 — We have been given authority.
📖 Luke 9:1 — Jesus gave His disciples power and authority.
📖 Mark 16:17 — These signs will follow those who believe.
📖 Colossians 2:13–15 — Jesus made us alive with Him, cancelled our debt and publicly disarmed the enemy through the victory of the cross.
📖 James 4:7 — Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee.
📖 1 John 4:4 — Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
📖 1 John 5:4 — Everyone born of God overcomes the world through faith.

One of the powerful pictures Pastor Matt unpacked was the serpent lifted up by Moses. Those who looked at it were healed — a picture pointing forward to Jesus, who would be lifted up for us.

And then came this powerful reminder:

Your debt has been paid in full.

In ancient times, a debt could be publicly displayed so everyone knew what was owed. When that debt was paid, the document was folded over — declaring that the debt was paid in full.

Through Jesus, our sin has been dealt with.
So when the enemy tries to remind you of your past, remember:

Your sins have been folded over.
Your debt has been paid.
Your past has been washed by the blood of Jesus.

The devil may bring up your past — but bring up his future. 🔥

He has already been defeated, and his future is certain.

As Pastor Matt put it:

“His past isn't good either — lost battle after lost battle!” 😂

And perhaps the best reminder of all:

The serpent's head has been crushed — his mental health ain't right! 😂🔥

We serve a BIG GOD.

Know whose you are, and you will begin to understand who you are.

Greater is He who is in you! 🙌

✨ Sunday Service | Bishop Joel & Lydia

What a powerful morning in the presence of God as we welcomed Bishop Joel and Lydia!

Bishop Joel shared a powerful message from 1 Kings 21, looking at the story of Naboth and his vineyard.
Naboth was not a king, pastor or priest. He was simply a farmer — yet he knew who he was, what belonged to him, and what he had been entrusted with.
The reminder was powerful: God can use anyone who knows who they are in Christ.

“Where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there among them.” — Matthew 18:20

There is good news for every size of church and every individual believer. We don't need to be important in the eyes of the world to make an impact. When we know who we are as God's children, walk in His Word and stand in what Jesus has given us, we can see lives changed and darkness pushed back.

Our salvation cannot be taken from us.
Our inheritance is found in Christ.
The garden is not ours — it belongs to Jesus.
The anointing is not ours — it belongs to Jesus.
And because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross, we can walk in the victory He has already won.

“By His stripes, we are healed.” 🙌

We were also honoured to bless Pastor Lydia with a laptop — a small expression of our love and appreciation for her and the work she is doing for the Kingdom. 💻❤️
