'Salvation is a free gift; it cannot be earned by good works or religious rituals. If you repent and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone—the only grounds for forgiveness—God will grant you mercy. If you’re not sure of your salvation, read Psalm 51 and make it your own prayer. Then show your gratitude by obeying God’s command to be baptized.'

'The finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls is the greatest archaeological sensation of our century. They represent the oldest of the existing Jewish literature and illuminate the time in which Jesus lived. Thus, the research today can reconstruct the time in which Jesus Christ lived far more accurately. You have to realize how Jewish the roots of the Christian faith are, but also how accurately the Biblical texts have been passed down over the centuries.'

The examination of the history and controversies involved with the Dead Sea scrolls is continued in this second half of a 2-part series.

He heard clay break [....] Had he discovered a treasure?'

The findings of Qumran, the scientific thriller of the Dead Sea, confirm the Biblical accounts and the Christian message.

'Despite the diversity of religious and philosophical traditions, there are really only two major worldviews to consider: God's way and man's way'

Fundamentally, there are only two worldviews: God’s way and man’s way—and every variation of man’s way holds to three basic themes.

'For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him' (John 3:17)

'Don’t miss the wonder of what these verses share: that Christ died for the ungodly, his enemies (what we once were)!'

On Good Friday, don’t miss the wonder of what the Bible shares: Christ died for the ungodly, his enemies (what you and I once were)!
