Countless hours go into our preparations for Spring Fair. Many people give through their time, labour and money, to make this day possible. Celebrating everyone who contributed to the big day on Saturday! Whether you baked a cake, stitched a cushion, sang a song, grilled a sausage, or mopped a spill, thank you to everyone who helped us raise funds for Streetwork and bring the community together. ❤️ We hope you get to rest and recuperate this week ❤️ Here are some of the faces that made this day a reality.

Tonight at EvenSong we celebrated the Season of Creation.

The 2026 theme is “Living Water”, drawing on the vision of Ezekiel 47, where water flows out to bring healing, renewal and abundant life to creation.

This year’s Season of Creation resources have been shaped by voices from the Pacific Conference of Churches, inviting us to listen deeply to communities for whom the ocean is a source of life, connection and identity, and who are also experiencing the profound impacts of climate change.

“Wherever the river goes, every living creature… will live.” - Ezekiel 47:9

The aftermath! Today we worshipped together right in the middle of the leftovers from yesterday’s Spring Fair - tables, books, a jumping castle and all the bits and pieces we hadn’t quite managed to pack away yet.

And perhaps there was something fitting about that.

God doesn’t care if our worship space is pristine, or if we’ve finished all our jobs. God meets us right where we are - in the middle of the mess, the unfinished tasks, the tiredness and the joy.

We don’t have to have everything sorted before we come together to worship. There is room for us, just as we are.

The Spring Fair is live! There’s trash n treasure, books, an Indigenous artist, brilliant performances but wonderful local dance and music groups, cakes, jewellery and so much more! We’re on until 2pm today.
