There are so many false teachings, or "crooked sticks" out there. Too many to study them all. Instead, study the Bible, the "straight stick". When you know and understand the Bible( Yhe Word of God) you will be able to discern truth from error. Know the Truth so well that no false way looks good to you. Be dilligent to study and meditate on Scripture. You will be blessed with wisdom from God and discernment. Jesus said in His High priestly prayer to God in John 17:17, "Sanctify them in truth, Your Word is truth." God bless you all as you study His Word, the "straight stick".

This was a good reminder. Not that we won't be any of those things, but that when all is said and done, our goal is to serve God in whatever capacity and whatever role He places us in. May we be found faithful in all our duties, roles,and responsibilities while remembering our place in the Kingdom of God. Also, consider Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve. Bible study is back on, this Wednesday at 7:30 pm. We are in Acts... Acts 15-28. Week #38 of the 52 Weeks thru the Bible book. New people are more than welcome to attend.
