Good morning/evening friends. Ivan here with an apology for the kerfaffle when posting the service yesterday. It really was all down to me not remembering my password to Facebook and relying on my back up plan of using my mobile phone to put the service online. We have done this several times over the last few years but this is a relatively new phone with "improvements!" If you were watching live casting you would have seen the results of the "improvements." A phone screen message kept flashing, saying, said, "Hey you can't do this!" It was referring to turning the phone on its side to show a "landscape" (wide) view of the picture. Did you know that it is possible to rotate videos when they are completed? I mean turn a video through 90, 180 and/or 270 degrees and only using "Freeware.!" There is so much publicity about the evils of the internet and modern technology when, of course it is not the technology but "The Enemy" using people who are susceptible to his siren calls. When used for good, such as sharing a church service with the world or a medical video consultation we do indeed benefit from the wonders of modern technology. So, we issue an invitation to you and yours to join our service that went online Sunday (yesterday) evening and to receive the blessing of a wonderful message shared by Francis on the wonder, indeed the miracle of prayer. Love always, Ivan. P.S. Do you like the word "kerfaffle"?

This is a message to the 119 registered followers of our page to let you know just how much we value each one of you. You are our online family. In 2020 when we started sharing our services online we thought it likely that we would be posting on the Internet through Facebook for perhaps a few months while the authorities dealt with the impact of the COVID19 Pandemic. Little did we know that God's plan was for much more than that. At times during the Pandemic more than 200 people regularly logged on to our services, with some peak s of connection above 300 during 2020. Four years later we are well aware that if we stopped posting services, brothers and sisters across Australia and around the world would feel the loss and some would miss out entirely on hearing God's word and joining in the celebration of His love in worship. Thank you for sticking with us during equipment failures and the rookie mistakes we made. We began posting using borrowed, secondhand and absolutely basic equipment. Thank you to those who donated money and equipment at the beginning and more recently enabled us to buy new equipment that has improved the quality of the sound and the picture. We are still using the simplest technology available, for two reasons. 1 We are not diverting money away from our mission projects and 2 the persons posting services do not need technology degrees to be able to do so. On behalf of the worship team and congregation at Whittlesea, I thank you, our online family, for being members of just that, family. God's family at Whittlesea and wherever you may be. Please don't be shy. We would love to hear from you. Post comments. If appropriate. Post some photos or even small videos. If you are not sure how to do that ask the grandkids to help. If appropriate we will try to get back to you. Remember! God loves you and so do we."
