🙏 The big day is almost here! 🙏

Tomorrow, Deacon Łukasz will be ordained to the Catholic priesthood! it is a very special day for him, our parish and the wider Church community. We hope many of St Michael's families can join us for the 10.30am Ordination Mass at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney as we celebrate this wonderful occasion together.

After the 6.00pm Vigil Mass tomorrow evening, we'll also be having a working bee to prepare the church and hall for Fr Łukasz's First Thanksgiving Mass. If you have an hour or two to spare, we'd love your help from 7pm on Saturday night 🙏

Then on Sunday, we invite you to join us for Fr Łukasz's First Thanksgiving Mass at 10.00am at St Michael's Church, Meadowbank. A celebratory lunch will follow in the parish hall. If you're coming along, please bring a plate of dessert or fruit to share.

Please continue to keep Fr Łukasz in your prayers as he begins his priestly ministry. 🤍🙏

Our Parish of St Michael's Church, Meadowbank is starting a new Children's Choir for students in Years 5- 10 (in 2026).

The Choir will sing at our monthly Family Masses (5.30pm on the first Saturday of each month) and we'd love for many of our St Michael's school students to join!

Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta.
