Ezra 6 records that the second temple is finally completed (in 516 BC), the people celebrate the dedication of the house of God with joy and then celebrate the Passover. We observe a pattern right through the Bible of how God works to save people and deal with their sin. Even today this continues! Join us for church

We would love to see you at church today as we look at Ezra 5 and 6 and see how God continues to provide for his people, even through the setbacks and challenges they face.

"The king should know that we went to the district of Judah, to the temple of the great God. The people are building it with large stones and placing the timbers in the walls. The work is being carried on with diligence and is making rapid progress under their direction." Ezra 5:8

Have you ever faced a sudden problem that stops you being able to do what you thought you would do? Something important to you that seemed like the right direction? As we continue our sermon series in Ezra chapter 4, the enthusiastic start to rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem hits multiple forms of opposition. 'Life everlasting'-what does that term bring to mind?
At the end of the Apostle's Creed we declare our belief that those who trust Jesus will live forever with Him in heaven.
Today we consider what that means for us now.
Please join us for church!

Gathering together as God's people at church is a wonderful way to start your week. We spend time together praising God, hearing from his word and speaking to Him in prayer. We say a creed about what we believe and share in the Lord's Supper in a way that reminds us of the link we have with other believers around the world and down through the ages. All these things are part of 'the communion of saints' line that we say in the Apostle's Creed, that we will explore at church today. Join us for this time of fellowship today.

Our ‘Life Course’ starts tomorrow night!

This is a unique opportunity to look into Jesus’ teaching, because…

‘Life isn’t full of surprises.’

This isn’t how the saying usually goes, but what if it’s also true?

We all know life is filled with circumstances we can’t control.

Jesus said:

'I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.'
(John 10:10)

Is ‘the good life’ something only Jesus can offer? One beyond the unchangeable expectations of work, dissatisfaction and death…

We invite you to our Life Course this week to consider Jesus’ teaching.
