Today we look at the second tenant of the Jedi Code. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. This is such a powerful statement, what could be more important in this day & age than knowledge? Through knowledge we gain understand, through understanding we can cast fear aside, because on some level, you will fear what you dont understand.

In this era, close to 50% of the global population have at their fingertips, access to the greatest repository of collective knowledge that the human species has ever known and yet we live in an age of ignorance, anti-vaxx, flat earth, fake news. As followers of the code, we must always spread the word of scientific fact, of known imperical truth and that is knowledge is everything. Read, learn and teach, and help push back the darkness of ignorance.

So today we begin our week long look at the jedi code and how we can apply it to everyday life. The first tenant of the Jedi code is, There is no emotion, there is pease.
Now alot of people take this to mean you need to act like a vulcan, but thats just not human. To live without emotion is impossible. Take this tenant of the code as a guide that we must always look to acknowledge what we are feelings, yes i am sad, yes i am angry, good first step. It is when we let emotion good or bad emotion go un-acknowledge is wben they start to run to extreme. So acknowledge what you are feeling and move back to your center. As a follower of Jedi philosophy, The Code, I freely and openly acknowledge how I am feeling but I always do my best to keep my center when dealing with, all situations. We have all seen in recient media what happen when a person or group become angry without acknowledging their emotional state. So friends be mindful of your feelings, acknowledge then and strive to maintain your emotional center.
