Celebrating Our Dads at Grace Baptist Church

Today at Grace Baptist Church, we had the joy of recognising dads who are such an important part of our church family.

As a small expression of our appreciation, each dad received a special book to take home. Different books were given, but each gift carried the same message , we value you, we appreciate you, and we thank God for you.

We are grateful for fathers who seek to lead with faith, love their families, encourage those around them and continue growing in their walk with the Lord.

“And ye fathers… bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4

May these gifts be an encouragement and a reminder of the important role God has given fathers.

💙 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH WATSONIA 💙

Today we celebrate and give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers and father figures who love, guide, protect, encourage and faithfully support their families.

We especially honour the dads who seek to lead their families in faith-praying for their children, teaching them God’s Word and showing through their lives what it means to follow Christ. 🙏

“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.” Proverbs 20:7

To every father in our church family and community, Happy Father’s Day! May God strengthen you, guide you and bless you as you continue to be an example to the generations that follow. ❤️

And today, above all, we give thanks to our perfect Heavenly Father, whose love never fails.

✨ LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE ✨

Today, let’s remember that our faith is not meant to be hidden. Through the way we speak, serve, encourage and care for others, we have an opportunity to reflect the love of Jesus to those around us. ❤️

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

May our lives point others towards Christ today. Be kind. Be generous. Be encouraging. Let His light shine through you. 🙏✨

GOD IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

There are moments when God can seem distant especially when life is difficult or our prayers haven’t been answered the way we expected.

But Scripture reminds us that He is near to everyone who genuinely calls upon Him.

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” Psalm 145:18

As this week comes to an end, take some quiet time to talk with God.

You don’t need perfect words. Simply come to Him. He hears you, He knows you, and He is near. 🙏

🌿 FIND REST IN JESUS

Sometimes the middle of the week can leave us feeling tired, busy and overwhelmed.

Jesus doesn’t tell us to carry everything ourselves. He invites us to come to Him and find the rest our hearts truly need.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Whatever you’re carrying today, bring it to Jesus.

Rest in His presence. Trust in His strength. Let Him carry what you cannot. ❤️🙏

A FRESH START WITH GOD

A new week is a reminder that God’s mercy isn’t limited by yesterday.

Whatever happened last week our disappointments, mistakes or struggles , we can begin again knowing that God’s love remains constant and His compassion never runs out.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:22–23

Start today with gratitude. His mercy is new, His love is unfailing, and He is faithful. 🙏
