🕊️ SUNDAY SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS | 30TH AUGUST, 2026
We had a glorious and refreshing time in God’s presence as Pst. Dele Balogun ministered powerfully on the topic: WHEN GOD REWRITES THE SCRIPT ✍️✨
📖 Genesis 50:20; Psalm 34:17–20
The message reminded us that God is the Author of our lives, and no matter how painful or difficult a chapter may be, He has the power to rewrite our story for His glory.
🔥 AN EXCERPT FROM THE MESSAGE:
When the Author of your life rewrites your story, He can overwrite every painful script and make it better.
What you may have imagined for yourself in the past can be set aside as God takes control and rewrites your script according to His divine purpose.
When the enemy writes rejection, God can write acceptance.
Don’t put a full stop where God has placed a comma. Don’t play God in your life; allow Him to rewrite your script.
You are not defined by your past chapter. Your past is history; don't allow it to determine your future.
Past mistakes and family patterns do not determine your final destination.
Just like Peter, who denied Jesus three times, God gave him another opportunity and restored him. His failure was not the end of his story.
Joseph went from the pit to the prison, but God eventually took him to the palace, where he became a prime minister in a foreign land.
Esther was positioned as queen at the right time to save her people.
Whatever the enemy may be planning against you, God is able to rewrite your story.
God can move you from delay to divine direction. Rejection can become redirection. In Acts 16, Paul was redirected to Macedonia, and what appeared to be a change of direction became part of God's greater purpose.
📖 Psalm 30:5 reminds us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
✍️ HOW DO WE LET GOD REWRITE OUR SCRIPT?
Stop rereading the painful stories of your past.
Align yourself with God’s divine will.
Trust God to restructure your brokenness.
Don’t judge your entire story by one difficult chapter.
Let God be the Chief Editor of your life.
Don’t abandon the stage while God is still writing your script.
Your current condition is not your final condition.
Divine delay may look slow, but God is working through the process. When you trust His timing and remain patient, you will have the last laugh.
When a chapter of your life looks like a mess, remember: the story is not over until the Chief Editor says so!
🙏 HOLD ON TO GOD!
God is still writing your story. Trust Him, follow His will, and never give up.
The chapter may be difficult, but the Author is still in control.
✨ God will rewrite your story, and all shall be well with you!
