Join us Sunday at 10am as we resume our studies in Acts. All Welcome.

The Spirit Strengthens the Church (Acts 14:1–28)
As the gospel spreads amid opposition, the Spirit strengthens new believers with courage, perseverance, and joy. This passage invites us to see how God establishes his church through hardship and faithfulness, forming communities that endure and bear witness to his grace. (Note: study questions for the message are released on the church’s sermon page on the Monday after each sermon, and to find them, go here and scroll until you find the Sunday listed: https://wcc.org.au/podcasts/media/series.)

Blokes BBQ Spit Roast Lunch.

It will be at Deons place in Chirnside which has a fire pit and some sheds in case of rain. BYO camping chair.

Carlo will run the Spit machine.

We are looking at everyone bringing one dish to share. We will need:

sides (bread, roast potatoes, scalloped potatoes, other veggies or whatever else you want to go on the side of the meat, ideally to be heated in fire)
desserts (stuff that doesnt require too much serving is best - doughnuts, biscuits, muffins, chocolate etc etc)
drinks
To enable Carlo to purchase meat it would be good to get an idea of numbers, so if you can RSVP by Monday 25 May to [email protected] it would be super helpful.

This Sunday 10am, all welcome.

Special topic: The Marks of a Generous Church (2 Cor. 8:1–9)

Because God has been overwhelmingly generous to us in Christ, this topic explores how the church is called to live with open hands—sharing our time, gifts, love, and resources so that others may experience God’s grace. (Note: study questions for the message are released on the church’s sermon page on the Monday after each sermon, and to find them, go here and scroll until you find the Sunday listed: https://wcc.org.au/podcasts/media/series.)

You are warmly invited to join us for the National Day of Prayer (NDOP), held this year on 23rd May from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (AEST).

Together with believers across our nation, we come with open hearts to pray for our regions, our states, and all of Australia. It is our prayer that, as we gather, our community will experience deep refreshing, renewed strength, and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.

Come just as you are and be part of this sacred time of unity. As we join together in prayer across Australia, we stand in faith and trust in God for breakthrough, healing, and the transformation of lives.

Thank you for standing with us and for your faithfulness in prayer, as we seek God together for the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.

Our Mothers Day service promises to be a service that will honour all of our Mums, and in fact, all of our women.
We look at three women in the Bible, all from different backgrounds, to take a deeper dive into their unwavering belief and faith in the God of Israel.
Because of their deep and unwavering belief in this God, He used them for His glory.
We too, can be used for His glory!!

A light morning tea provided.

Coffee and tea will be available before the service from 9:30-9:55am, as well as afterwards.
