The Corner Uniting Church is located on the corner of Oaklands & Diagonal Roads at Warradale. Face to face worship is available again, as well as online worship which can be found on our faith formation website www.faithintersectinglife.org.au

Worship is held on Sunday mornings at 10.00am. The first Sunday of the month is Communion. Evenings @ The Corner is a monthly worship service run by The Corner Uniting Church. A modern, progressive, interactive, welcoming, and community focussed service held on the third Sunday of the month. 5.00pm - buy a coffee or snack before worship. 5.30pm - worship starts. 6.30pm - buy dinner and/or dessert from our Cafe. The Corner offers a great range of programs and activities from Tuesday - Friday each week. Please note that most of these are currently on hold due to the pandemic. Please visit our website www.thecorner.org.au for the latest information on these programs and activities. Activities include Op Shop, Art Exhibitions, Art Classes, Craft Group, and lots more! Sunday Evenings Community Night is on this weekend!
Everyone is invited to join us for a Rainbow Art Night where we will create items to take with us to Pride March in a few weeks.
You will have your choice of:
1. Decorating a t-shirt, hat or shoes with fabric paint. Bring your own or buy something from the Op Shop. Cotton and low stretch fabric works best.
2. Cut out and put sticker on lolly pops to give out at the march.
3. Design and make your own sign to hold.
4. Make a rainbow bracelet for yourself or to share with others.

We will be ordering pizza for dinner. There is not set cost for dinner, but donations are greatly appreciated.
We have soft drinks and snacks available for purchase, but we will not be selling any barista made drinks.

The Pride March is Saturday November 7th. Meet at Murlawirrapurka / Rymill Park at 2.30pm and start marching at 3.00pm.

To help us reflect on 2026 and plan for 2027 we would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on Evenings @ The Corner.

Some of you already had the chance to do this at our community meeting, but if you weren't there or have some more things to share you can do this in several ways:
1. In person at Antics (Nov 16th), Create (Nov 17th) or Sunday Evenings (Nov 25th).

3. Talk to a member of Oversight Team (Belinda, Helen L, Lucy, Marcus, Nina or Susy).

Sunday Evenings is on this weekend!
Join us as we explore the past, present and future of the Uniting Church through mini messages, activities, group discussion and music.

On the night we will also be having a community meeting after worship, during dinner. This will be a chance to hear what is happening in the community and a chance to share your thoughts.

Everyone is invited to join us for dinner after worship. We will be having crumbed chicken tender wraps and potato gems. There are gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian and onion/garlic free options available. There is not set cost for dinner, but donations are greatly appreciated.
Hot/cold drinks and snacks from our cafe at an additional cost.

The sun is shining and The Corner UC Mini Market is open until 1pm! Come grab a bargain. Pre-loved clothes, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, plants, homemade cakes (incl GF) & sausage rolls, barista coffee, scones straight out the oven, sausages (GF) hot off the BBQ and cold drinks.

At our last Create @ The Corner we learnt how to do Kinusaiga.
It might have been a bit tricky to start with, but everyone got the hang of it and created some amazing artworks.
While art is an important part of Create, we also prioritise having a safe and welcoming community for everyone who come along.

The Corner UC Mini Market is this Saturday 9am-1pm. Come grab a bargain and support Ministry & Mission at The Corner.
Items for sale include pre-loved clothes, shoes, books, toys, bric a brac, homemade cakes and homegrown plants. There will be freshly baked scones with jam & cream, barista coffee, as well as a sausage sizzle and cold drinks available. The Corner UC Op Shop will also be open. See you Saturday!

Sunday Evenings is on this weekend!
Join us as we explore The Season of Creation. We will delight, lament and find hope through sharing our stories, writing to politicians and making a collaborative artwork.

Everyone is invited to join us for dinner after worship. We will be having sausages, bread and salad with gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian and low onion/garlic options. There is no set cost for dinner, but donations are greatly appreciated.
