Wangaratta Baptist Church We are a local church with a passion to bring glory to God and the Hope of the Gospel to the North East of Victoria. We welcome everyone, just as you are.

We are a local Bible believing gospel-centred Baptist Church with a rich history in the city of Wangaratta. We exist to bring glory to God and the hope of the Gospel to the North East. We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 10am, and have a kids program during the service, as well as a crèche, and smaller groups to be part of through the week. Today we were so encouraged to welcome Tonya from Compassion, who shared with us about the wonderful ministry they are doing to support children and families around the world. We were especially thankful to hear more about our partnership together in Bangladesh and the difference this is making through the love of Christ.
After the service, we enjoyed a wonderful fellowship lunch together, and it was a joy to take the opportunity to honour Pastor Aaron for his faithful servant heart and ongoing ministry among us. We’re so grateful for the way he continues to serve our church family with humility, care, and devotion.
What a lovely day of worship, encouragement, connection, and thanksgiving. Praise God for His goodness and for the privilege of sharing in His work together.

This Easter weekend was an amazing time to celebrate God’s goodness and glory. From the solemnity of Good Friday to the joy of the resurrection and a full house praising Jesus - and the blessing of our fun day, as well as the declaration of faith of 10 baptisms, God is good!
