Last Sunday, Pastor Clive’s sermon stirred something powerful — some of our young people went home asking their parents, “What is a soy boy?”

This isn’t about guilt or shame. It’s a clear-eyed look at the truth because the studies are confronting.
When biblical order in the home breaks down, society follows into dysfunction and disarray.

It’s not a competition. It’s not about control. It’s about men rising up and taking responsibility.

Yes, this is a strong message — but it’s also full of hope. When we return to God’s biblical design for gender, leadership, and order in the home, our families, churches and communities begin to flourish once again.

Sunday AM recap ⚡️

Who told you that you were naked?

In Genesis, after humanity fell, the very first thing Adam and Eve did was try to hide. They stitched together fig leaves to cover their shame.

We still do the same thing today. We try to cover our insecurities with performance and image management.

Stop trying to cover what only God can heal. You cannot heal spiritual shame with natural coverings.

Fig leaves represent our own human effort, but they will never restore your true identity.

God doesn’t want you to perform. Drop the fig leaves and step into your identity as a son or daughter of God. ❤️🙏

This morning in our AM service, we honoured Ps Sharon Pawson on this special 60th milestone for her incredible dedication to the Body of Christ over the past four decades — as a faithful woman of God, loving mother, and devoted wife.

60 is a massive milestone — though it’s only about half the age of Moses! We are excited and expectant for all that God will continue to do in and through her in the years ahead 🎉

David and Carmen shared beautiful words honouring their pastor and mother — a tribute richly deserved on this special occasion.

Today we joyfully honour a remarkable woman of God on this beautiful milestone — our beloved Mother of the House, Pastor Sharon Pawson (Sharon Pawson).

We are deeply blessed to call her our Pastor and the nurturing heart of our home. She radiates the true beauty of a woman of faith — walking humbly yet boldly in grace, wisdom, and unconditional love, leaving the fragrance of Christ wherever she goes.

Ps Sharon, we love you dearly and honour the incredible legacy you carry. Our hearts are filled with excitement and expectation as we look ahead to the fresh outpouring of God’s purpose, power, and glory in and through your life in this new and glorious chapter.

“I felt the Holy Spirit for the first time.”

Last Sunday night, we were deeply moved by a powerful testimony from a visitor who’s been a Christian for many years. In her moment of need, God met her in a fresh way. She described feeling the tangible, weighty presence of the Holy Spirit so strongly that she could barely stay on her feet.

For the first time in a long time she experienced hope.

It’s not just about the encounter — it’s about what we do with it afterward.

Testimonies like this are becoming normal as we contend for our city, winning the lost at any cost and mending the nets for a great catch.
