✨Our Lady of Victories Festa Mass ✨

The Franciscan Sisters warmly invite you to join them for the Our Lady of Victories Festa Mass as we gather in faith to honour our Blessed Mother and celebrate this cherished tradition.

📅 Friday, 11 September
🕖 Procession begins at 7:00 pm

📍 Francis of Assisi Aged Care Home (Outdoors)
☕ Supper to follow

This special evening is an opportunity to come together in prayer, reflection and fellowship as we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Victories.

Whether you have a long connection to this beautiful tradition or are joining us for the first time, everyone is warmly welcome to share in this celebration of faith and community.

🌿 This Saturday, we gather as a parish family to celebrate a very special milestone in the faith journey of our young people.

The St. John's Catholic Parish, Walkerston community warmly invites you to join us this Saturday, 25 July, at our 5:15 pm Vigil Mass as we celebrate our children's First Holy Communion and Confirmation.

This special Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Danny Meagher, together with our Parish Priest, Fr James.

As our children receive these sacred Sacraments, we give thanks for their faith, the love and support of their families, and all those who have helped prepare them for this important day.

Everyone is warmly welcome to join us in prayer and celebration as we congratulate these wonderful children and ask God's continued blessings upon them as they continue to grow in faith.

There will be a shared meal after Mass in the Hall. If you are able,
please bring a plate of food to share

🙏 Please keep all of our Communion and Confirmation candidates and their families in your prayers.

Congratulations to each of our children on reaching this beautiful milestone in your faith journey. May God continue to bless and guide you as you walk with Christ.

🌸 Thank You for Another Wonderful Hoy & Mini Cent Sale! 🌸

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at this month's Hoy & Mini Cent Sale at St John's Parish Hall, Walkerston.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces enjoying a morning of friendship, laughter, games, delicious morning tea and great community spirit.

A very special thank you goes to our incredible St John's Parish volunteers. Your time, generosity and hard work behind the scenes—preparing morning tea, organising prizes, setting up, serving and helping throughout the morning—make these gatherings possible. We are so grateful for your ongoing dedication to our parish community.

We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated prizes, supported the raffles and mini cent sale, and simply came along to enjoy the morning. Your support means so much and helps keep these much-loved community events thriving.
