Trinity Sunday
This Sunday we celebrate the Most Holy Trinity – the great mystery of God’s love revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As Fr Gaspar reminds us, God is “a God of tenderness and compassion, slow to anger, rich in kindness and faithfulness.” May we marvel at His unchanging love for us.

A quick update on our church Crucifix: a small part of the artwork recently came loose, and after professional advice, restoration will begin Tuesday 19 May and finish by Friday.
Weekday Masses will be in the side Chapel during this time.
Thank you for your patience as we care for this treasured piece of our parish history. ✝️

✝️ 25 May – Our Lady, Help of Christians 🇦🇺🕊️

Today, Monday, we celebrate Our Lady, Help of Christians, the beloved patroness of Australia.
The title Help of Christians is one of the oldest Marian invocations, appearing in the ancient prayer 𝑺𝒖𝒃 𝒕𝒖𝒖𝒎 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒖𝒎, found on a third‑century papyrus.

For centuries Christians have turned to Mary as a mother who stands with us in times of fear, struggle and uncertainty. As one reflection notes, she stayed by Jesus even at the foot of the Cross, making her a powerful companion in our own moments of difficulty.

Mary under this title is honoured by Catholics across the world, including at the Shrine of Sheshan in China, and remains a reminder that no matter the trial, we never face it alone.

Join us as we honour Our Lady and ask her to pray for our parish, our nation and all in need.

This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost, the birthday of the Church and a powerful reminder that the Holy Spirit makes us one people in Christ.
At Holy Name, this feast is especially meaningful as we are served by the Spiritans—missionaries who bring the Gospel across cultures and languages, just as the first disciples did.
Join us for our 9:30am Family Mass followed by a multicultural morning tea. Please bring a plate to share!
