Triune God โ€“ Father, Son and Holy Spirit,

You show us the essence of true community, perfect relationship. You call us to be like you, living in selfless, self-giving love toward one another.

As a movement you united us with the richness and resources of three denominations, calling us to live out a vision of reconciliation, discipleship, justice and mission. You made us a family and gave us a purpose.

Yet we confess that we have not lived up to this great calling. We have trusted in structures more than your Spirit, preserved institution while neglecting the great commission, and guarded our identity more than our calling.

We have strived for unity, but often in our own strength. We have embraced diversity, but often at the expense of embracing you in our midst.

Yet you are gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Turn us again to yourself. Revive your Church by your Spirit, renew our witness, and restore us to the mission of Christ in the world.

God of selfless love, make us one. Come and correct that which is erroneous in our life, bring us into deeper unity with other Churches, and by the power of your unifying Spirit, use our worship, witness and service so that Jesus may be glorified among us and through us.
Amen.

Thank you to all of the Common Grace movement, including churches, schools and individuals, who journeyed with us throughout National Reconciliation Week 2026 as we listened deeply to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian Leaders and reflected on 'Reconciliation as Reciprocity'.

We pray this week has been a time of deep connection, reflection, and prayer with your community, as youโ€™ve responded to the invitation to be โ€˜All Inโ€™ for reconciliation.

As we take our next steps together on this journey of reconciliation, we leave you with this blessing written by proud Wuthathi and Mabuiag Island woman, Safina Stewart.

God of justice and reconciliation,
You have made us one body, with many parts.
Send us out now, all in for reconciliation - offering our whole selves.
Teach us to walk side by side, to listen deeply,
and to honour people and Country.
Guard us from shallow words and empty gestures.
May we be people who bring healing, seek justice,
and nurture restored relationships.
Amen. . .

Weโ€™d love to hear how you and your community marked National Reconciliation Week 2026 and the next steps youโ€™re taking together on this shared journey of healing and reconciliation! Share in the comments or email us at [email protected] . .

As a next step, we invite you to sign up with your email on the Common Grace website to continue on this journey of deep listening, learning, prayer and action together for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice - www.commongrace.org.au

What a special Trinity Sunday at church today. โœ๏ธ

Today we learned about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit โ€” three persons, yet one God. It was a wonderful reminder of Godโ€™s presence in our lives and His incredible love for us.

We were also blessed to worship alongside friends from the Anglican Church and the Jerilderie Uniting Church. It was a beautiful example of Christians coming together in unity to celebrate our shared faith in Christ.

During the kidsโ€™ talk, Rae shared a powerful lesson about being created in Godโ€™s image. She had a special box containing something very precious and invited volunteers to look inside. One by one, they opened the box to discover a mirror looking back at them. The message was simple but profound: each one of us is precious to God because we are created in His image.

It was a joy to see children and adults learning, worshipping, laughing, and growing in faith together. Days like these remind us how blessed we are to be part of Godโ€™s family.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We pray you have a wonderful week and look forward to gathering together again soon. ๐Ÿ’›

Reconciliation is not a passive activity, and it is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.

This year's theme for National Reconciliation Week is ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

As a Church, we are called to be people of reconciliation, not as bystanders, but as active participants. This week, and every week, we are ๐˜ˆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜๐˜ฏ, recommitting to listening, learning, and walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the ongoing journey toward justice and healing.
