The Masquerade Ball as part of the annual Church Dinner Dance is in full swing tonight at OLMC! 🎭

Masks are on, the dance floor is packed, the MC Dyu D'Cunha is pumping the energy in the room and DJ Calvin has everyone up and moving. Laughs, good food, and great music, exactly what our Fundraising Committee dreamed up for this year's dinner dance.

This is an annual ritual that all of us look forward to. We come together, we celebrate, and we have a great time doing it.

Although we had a smaller group at our friendship father's day celebration yesterday it was enjoyed by everyone attending. With prayer, blessing, eating and dancing the time just passed quickly. Congratulations to our September birthday girls. Margaret A. won the Bingo (with the help of Sr Jill 🙃). Not to forget the yummy food.
Thank you to Margaret C, Jeanne and Vira with her kind helpers for organising this event.
The October (6th) friendship group theme will be SPRING.

Renewed & Sent: Parish Renewal Summit lands right on our doorstep, 1–3 October 2026 at St Gregory's College, Campbelltown.

Bishops, priests, deacons, parish teams and lay leaders from across Australia and New Zealand are coming together to ask one question: what does renewal look like for us?

And right now, we don't have enough volunteers.

This is a reminder again to show up for something bigger than ourselves. A few hours of your time could make all the difference.

We need you. And if it's not you, we need someone you know.

Think of a friend, a family member, a fellow parishioner who's got time to give. Don't just sign up yourself, pass this on. Tag them. Send them the link. Ask them directly. This only works if we all pull together.

We need you, OLMC Varroville!
Renewed & Sent: Parish Renewal Summit is coming to St Gregory's College, Campbelltown, from 1–3 October 2026.
The Diocese of Wollongong together with Divine Renovation Australia is hosting this summit. It's on our doorstep. Let's show up for it.
We're still short on volunteer registration numbers, and we'd love for you to be part of it. Registrations are still open.
Renewed & Sent Summit brings together bishops, priests, deacons, parish teams and lay leaders from all over Australia and New Zealand, all asking the same question: what could renewal look like in our own parish? Three days of prayer, real stories, and honest conversation.

Celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother at OLMC Varroville

Today our parish community came together to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother, with a beautiful Mass attended by parishioners and people from the neighbouring parishes as well.

It was also a special day for our Indian community, who marked India’s Independence Day. After Mass, everyone gathered to share a meal, celebrated together, and sang the national anthems of Australia and India, a lovely moment of unity and cultural pride.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today.
