If you're struggling to be thankful for something you haven’t received yet, here's a little reminder of the things Jesus has done for you already!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12 NIV)

Join us this Sunday as we begin our newest series, for everyone living in the gap between the promise and the fulfilment. The unanswered prayer. The prodigal who hasn’t come home. The diagnosis that didn’t lift, the breakthrough that hasn’t come, the dream that’s gone quiet.

This series is to remind us that deferred is not denied. Hope deferred makes the heart sick - but hope in God does not put us to shame (Romans 5:5). Biblical hope isn’t a feeling about the future; it’s confidence in the God who holds it - and He has never once broken a promise.

Beginning this Sunday 4 October and continuing through November.

📍 Middle Ridge: 8.30am, 10.30am, & 6.00pm every Sunday
📍 Highfields: 8.30am & 10.30am every Sunday
📍 Lockyer Valley: 9.30am Sunday 4 & 18 October, 1 November

‘Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.’ (Philippians 3:8 NLT).

For many of us, our experience of earthly fathers can shape how we see God, especially when it comes to correction. But He is not limited by our experiences! He is a loving and compassionate Father. He sees what we can’t, and when He corrects us, it isn’t to condemn us. Sometimes His redirection is actually His protection.

‘The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.' (Psalm 32:8 NLT).
