This Sunday, Ash Morrison brought us back to basics — and it was exactly what we needed.

What does it actually look like to love God and love people in our everyday lives? Not just when it's easy or convenient, but when it costs us something?

Ash walked us through 1 Corinthians 13 and unpacked what real, selfless love looks like in practice — from staying patient with people who move at a different pace, to choosing kindness over comfort, forgiving over and over again, and persevering with the people who are hardest to love.

The truth is, we don't have to produce this kind of love on our own. Jesus is the only one who ever loved perfectly, and he doesn't just model it, he fills us with it.

What a great honor it was at the Tweed Campus Sunday service to dedicate a morning to the immensely important women who have been in our lives, cultivating love and support. This morning, we got to listen to our fellowship give individual testimonies of the wonderful women who have helped shape their walk. We shared a lovely morning tea and gave the women who attended some lovely, crafted gifts from Sunday school. We thank the Lord for you! May you go and be blessed by the Lord.
