• Be careful to observe confidentiality and privacy in electronic communications – for example, do not publish the names, contact details or other personal information of people online.
• Be considerate. Remember that your peers cannot see your body language or hear your tone of voice, so you need to keep your language direct and respectful.
• Avoid slang, jargon, and sarcasm. Some slang or jargon terms may be familiar to you, but not to others. Sarcasm is negative and can lead to rifts in what is meant to be a comfortable, safe online forum.
• Sharing an opposing opinion or idea is an important part of discussion, but it needs to be presented in constructive manner that encourages further discussion rather than shutting it down.
• Do not use all caps when writing. It is interpreted as yelling. Copyrighted and trademarked material
Copyrighted or trademarked material may not be posted on this page without the expressed permission of its author or owner. Brief excerpts or paraphrases of other written material may be posted, but should be cited or hyperlinked back to the original, third-party article or excerpt. Please be aware that material submitted to the page for inclusion will be vetted for its appropriateness to the page and our community. Images and Media
Media images and recordings are vital means of communicating the story of our church. They provide a visual insight into our rich community faith life and add an extra dimension to the information we provide to our members and visitors. We would like to share media items recorded at our various ministry activities, events and programs in church-produced materials. These materials will adhere to the following:
o No identifying information will accompany photos (including names, addresses, email addresses, or family members’ names)
o Anyone may request a particular media item which prominently features them or their children aged under 18 be removed by Admins on the page. At events those taking photos will ask for permission to take photos beforehand. These photos are not to be used for anything other than to celebrate the event or program and may not be used for marketing purposes. o At events involving children under the age of 18, blanket permission will be sought when children sign up to events (such as Christmas Eve Workshop) and these permissions will be strictly observed when posting on Facebook. User content
Turramurra Uniting Church has the right to remove and/or disallow user submitted content to our page for any reason including contravention of the above codes of conduct.

Join us at Turramurra Uniting Church this Easter, all are welcome. 🤍 Service details below - join us at 10 Turramurra Avenue (near Turramurra Station).

🌱 Maundy Thursday - 7:30pm - 8:30pm: an immersive worship as we experience & feel what it might have been like for the disciples at the Last Supper. We will be reflecting on John’s version of the last supper as we move through five interactive experiences - gathering, serving, remembering, Communion and the service of the Tenebrae (the service of the Candles). The service will be held in the Chapel, transformed into a creative space with candles, symbols, elements of the Passover as well the communion elements.

☁️ Good Friday - 10:00am: A creative and reflective worship service which will focus on the cross of Jesus and the forgiveness, grace, life and in particular LOVE that is poured out through the cross. Note the time - 10am - as it is a combined service! This service will be a quieter, reflective service in the spirit of Good Friday. The service will be followed by a time of sharing over Hot Cross Buns.

☀️ Easter Sunday - 9:00am Service, followed by 10:00am Easter Egg Hunt! … Celebrate Easter with lively singing with the Easter worship band, great joy and creative teaching as we celebrate that Jesus is alive. Our youth worker Gibbo will have a kids talk that will retell the Easter story with folding and surprises! And while the kids are making their Easter Egg Hunt bags, our minister Phil will be sharing how despite the world throwing a lot of bad news our way, Easter reminds us of the good news that LOVE WINS!
- Straight after the service at 10am (sharp) we will be holding the community Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn outside the church. Every child is welcome to participate (after we say go).
- Don’t turn up at 10:10am … it will be too late!

Note: there is no this week, as we’re having combined services across Easter! Evolve is back on April 12th!

All are welcome and invited to share this Easter together at Turramurra Uniting Church. 🤍
