As we welcome the new year, the North Shore Sikh Association of Sydney (NSSAS) is excited to announce a special initiative to give back to our incredible North Shore community. We will offer Digital Literacy Classes for Adults to help our elders and community members confidently navigate the digital world.

These classes will cover essential topics such as:

* Basic digital skills
* Social media use
* Government apps (e.g. Service NSW, Opal)
* Cybersecurity and online safety

This is an excellent opportunity for parents, carers, friends, uncles, and aunts to gain valuable digital knowledge. Let’s help empower our loved ones in this ever-evolving digital era.

As we approach the auspicious occasion of Bandi Chhorh Diwas (Diwali), our Gurduwara is preparing for a significant cleaning sewa in anticipation of the celebration. We are deeply grateful for the selfless dedication of our sewadars, whose tireless efforts make these sewas possible.Kindly mark your availability for the following scheduled activities:

Friday, 3rd Nov: We will be cleaning the office and organizing the kitchen pantry shelves, ensuring that all kitchen items are well-arranged.

Friday, 10th Nov: A general clean-up of the Gurdwara premises, both inside and outside, will take place.

Sunday, 12th Nov (Bandi Chhorh Diwas): Given that it falls on a Sunday, we will require sewadars throughout the day, supporting various tasks during the diwan.

Your participation and support during these sewas are invaluable. We kindly request you to make yourselves available for these activities and let's work together to make Bandi Chhorh Diwas a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for everyone.

We're excited to announce that we'll be organising a Bonfire and History Night for Shaheed Akaali Baba Hanuman Singh Ji Gatka Akhara students. This night will be filled with history, knowledge and, of course, FUN. All Gatka students must attend this session.
