Some Snaps from last Sunday!

One of the highlights was hearing Amanda’s story of how she was saved out of new age beliefs to faith in Jesus and her heart to reach those in the Tweed caught up in the new age movement and share with them the hope of Jesus Christ.

Our next team gathering will be held on June 21st.

What a joy it was to gather for the very first time as City on a Hill Tweed.

We spent time singing, praying, opening God’s Word, and enjoying fellowship together as we continue preparing for launch. It’s still early days, but we’re grateful for what God is already doing and excited for what lies ahead.

What a joy it was to gather together for our very first team gathering on Sunday! 🙌

An afternoon filled with fun, praise, prayer, encouragement, and time in God’s Word as we continue preparing for what’s ahead at City on a Hill Tweed.

We’re so thankful for everyone who came and excited for all that God has in store for this new church community.

Since October, we’ve been gathering together as a team — building friendships, praying together, dreaming about what God might do, and preparing for a new church community on the Tweed.

Now, we’re getting ready to begin our Team Gatherings. 🙌

First up we’d love to invite everyone who’s interested to join us for a BBQ Social this Sunday! A relaxed chance to connect, meet people, and spend time together as we head into this next season.

BBQ Social 🗓 Sunday 17 May 🕛 12pm 📍 Turnock Park, Chinderah (pending weather) 🪑 Bring a camp chair + picnic rug

Then the following Sunday, we officially launch our Team Gatherings, which will begin fortnightly to start with.

“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God…” — Psalm 46:4

Psalm 46 has been shaping our prayers for this next season. In a world that feels chaotic, unstable, and at times overwhelming, God is our refuge and strength. And through Jesus, he brings forgiveness of sins, peace with God, and real, lasting joy.

The Tweed is growing. It’s changing. People are moving in with hope for a better life. And yet many are still carrying the weight of sin, shame, disappointment, and loss.

We believe this is a significant moment to plant a church that holds out something deeper — the good news of Christ and the eternal city that truly makes people glad.

This new church will be part of the wider , with a simple mission: to know Jesus and make Jesus known.
