We’re pleased to share that translated versions of several key foundational and governance documents of the Uniting Church are now available, helping more people participate fully in the life, leadership and decision-making of the Church.

Numerous Uniting Church documents are now available in Arabic, Armenian, Dinka, Fijian, Filipino, Indonesian, Korean, Nuer, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swahili, Tongan, Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.

The translated resources include the 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 – documents that help shape our faith, governance, discernment, mission and public witness.

These translations are an important step towards making our shared resources more accessible to the many multicultural commmunities across the Uniting Church.

The translated documents are available on 𝘂𝗛𝘂𝗯, as well as through the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗯 and 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝘂𝗯 on the Uniting Church Australia website. Links to these platforms are in the Comments section below.

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻!

From 1 September to 4 October, Christians around the world are invited to pray, worship and act for God’s creation during the Season of Creation.

This year’s theme, “Living Water”, reminds us of God’s life-giving presence and our shared calling to care for the earth and all who depend on it. Inspired by Ezekiel’s vision of the river that brings healing wherever it flows, we’re invited to immerse ourselves in God’s renewing work and become streams of hope in our communities.

We encourage congregations across the Uniting Church to participate in the Season of Creation through worship, prayer and practical action. Explore the resources available via the link in the Comments.

In an incredible rescue, six health workers have been found safe after more than 30 hours adrift at sea!

The team was on a two-hour voyage between two remote islands in Fiji's far east, when their boat's engine failed and it began taking on water.

Incredibly, they were found on Thursday evening by a passenger ferry about 20km from the nearest island.
