We are back with our first youth this Friday night, kicking off 7pm at Church on Pinnacle.

We would like to extend a massive thank you to our visiting AYM team for 2019! What an amazing weekend in God's house hearing the word, praying our hearts out and laughing with new and old friends. We so greatly appreciate this wonderful program and the opportunity given by National Youth Ministries for young people around Australia to experience it. Thank you to the team for allowing yourselves to be used of God and to make the trip all the way to Townsville, we know it was no-ones first time here but we also hope it's no-ones last.

Last night we heard from Brother Kris on not being overcome with evil but overcoming evil with good.

Romans 12:14-21

14 Bless(to speak well of) them which persecute(harass, trouble, mo**st) you: bless, and curse(to curse, doom, imprecate evil upon) not.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord

It is not our place to get angry at those that cause us trouble whether at the workplace, on the road or elsewhere. We should lift these situations to God in prayer and speak well of these people. God will take care of the rest. We must let God's spirit overcome our fleshly reactions lest we allow ourselves to be overcome by evil.

1 Pet 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Come join us for prayer at 7 tonight and a night of fellowship and fun from 7:30. Whether you like table tennis, board games or something in between I'm sure we'll have you covered for fun tonight.

No youth tonight which means we miss you all. On Wednesday our Pastor challenged us with the words of William Booth, truer today than when he wrote them so long ago.
- Popularity and fame will never measure up to truth.
- Our human efforts will always fall short without God's power.
We won't see the manifestation of God's power without
prayer and fasting.
- The first thing we notice when we walk into God's
house should be his presence and love.

We serve the same God that is meeting with 36K young people at NAYC19. We can experience his presence here in our houses and in our churches. God is not restricted to a multitude - he brings the multitude
