Please note that there will be no 12:00pm Mass at St Mary's Church on Friday, 12 June, and no 8:30am Mass on Saturday, 13 June, as our Diocese gathers for the Synod.

CORPUS CHRISTI 2026

The Dean, Fr Sylvester Emetuche, led the parish celebration of Corpus Christi with Holy Mass and Eucharistic Procession for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ at Sacred Heart Cathedral.

As we celebrate this great feast, may we continually recognise and cherish the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Nourished by the Body and Blood of Christ, may we carry His presence into our homes, workplaces, and communities, bringing hope, peace, and charity to all whom we encounter. 🌾🫓

This weekend, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). We invite you to join us in adoration and thanksgiving for the gift of Christ's Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
