Each year, the Australian Catholic Bishops release a Social Justice Statement, coinciding with Social Justice Sunday (celebrated on the last Sunday in August). As such, these statements contribute to the body of Catholic social teaching and provide direction from the local Australian Church for individual and community reflection.

Often, the statements as well as the supporting materials provide valuable resources for use with students and staff. You may wish to consider the way that this year’s statement may provide timely reflection material for your school community.

Hope is Alive! 🌟

Yesterday, our Padua and Assisi Captains had the privilege of attending the Queensland Bishops’ Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral.

It was a beautiful celebration of faith, bringing together young people from across our Catholic community and reminding us that hope is very much alive because Jesus is alive in each of us. 💛

May we continue to carry that hope into our College community and let our light shine! ✨

Remembering St. Anthony of Padua.
Today we celebrate with all of the FSA school and college communities, the Feast of St Anthony of Padua.
This day honors St. Anthony’s legacy as a gifted preacher, theologian, and champion of the those people on the peripheries.
FSA is honoured to accompany 13 schools across Australia who carry the name St Anthony of Padua.

Good day, good people.
This weekend, our Eucharistic celebrations will joyfully honour the Feast of St Anthony at our Parish Church in Deeragun. Please note that there will be no 5:00 pm Saturday Vigil Mass at St Clare’s Catholic Church on our Burdell School Campus.
As people in Christ, may we gather with grateful hearts, celebrating God’s goodness in prayer, community, and fellowship. We look forward to sharing this special St Anthony Feast Day with you on Sunday.

We offer our most heartfelt and joyful congratulations to our newly confirmed candidates who celebrated their Confirmation and First Holy Communion at St Clare’s Catholic School, St Clare's Catholic School Burdell, on Saturday night! The atmosphere was profoundly blessed and filled with the Holy Spirit during a magnificent evening of worship led by Bishop Tim Harris and our Parish Priest, Fr Gideon. The radiant excitement on the children's faces was a beautiful reflection of God's living presence as they stepped into this sacred new chapter of their lifelong faith journey. We extend our deepest gratitude to the wonderful parents and sponsors whose love, devotion and guidance brought these young hearts to the altar, and we join in prayer that these children will continue to walk boldly in the light of Christ. May the Holy Spirit bless them abundantly!
