What a big couple of weeks it’s been at Torquay Salvos…
On Thursday 11th May our local Red Shield Appeal was launched by Cr Rose Hodge. It was a great morning and a big thank you goes to our friends from All Aboard who served us so beautifully.
On Friday night we had RED NIGHT at our monthly Friday Night @ Salvos. So much fun in community together and some powerful moments as we thought of how we could make a difference in our community.
Over the weekend our amazing volunteers have been out raising money that will be used in our local community so that no one struggles alone. A big shout out to everyone who has made this years Appeal a success.

This weekend Torquay Salvos will be out raising funds so that no-one struggles alone!

We are in need of people willing to give 2 hours of their time to sit at one of our static points and receive donations on either Sat 20th or Sun 21st.

A special night last night at Friday Night @ Salvos as Mon and Belinda shaved their heads to support Worlds Greatest Shave.
These brave, beautiful women raised almost $2000 for people facing blood cancer - amazing effort!
A beautiful moment when Joylene gave the girls some beanies that she had knitted and crotched for them.
Beautiful inclusive community ❤️

A great morning as women from all parts of our Salvo community came together to acknowledge International Women’s Day.
Congratulations to our shop manager Catherine Lee on 10 years of service to TSA - so glad we could celebrate you!
Thank you Ashleigh for sharing your experiences of being a woman in some very interesting workplaces.
