Men’s Ministry Gathering – Thursday 4th June | 10:30am–12 Noon

Join us in the Parish Hall for a relaxed and meaningful morning together over a scrumptious morning tea as we explore the theme of Discipleship in the way of Jesus.

What does it mean to follow Jesus in today’s world?

Through conversation, some bible passages, a short Richard Rohr reflection from Falling Upward, and shared stories, we’ll consider the way of Jesus ....... a way that often challenges our culture’s ideas of strength, success, and power.

All men are welcome. Come as you are.
A place for friendship, encouragement, faith, and community.

🔥 Pentecost Sunday - You Are Invited 🔥

This Sunday at 9am we celebrate Pentecost - the day we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the Church, and God’s presence still moving among us today.

We warmly invite you to join us at Christ The King Toronto for worship, prayer, music, and Holy Communion, as we celebrate this joyful and hope filled feast day together.

We are delighted to have The Reverend Alison Wooden, who will be preaching and presiding at the service.

Whether you are part of our church community, visiting, exploring faith, or simply looking for a place to belong this Pentecost, you are most welcome. ❤️🔥

🎉🌿 This Sunday is Church on the Move! 🌿🎉

We’re excited to be gathering this Sunday at 11am for Church on the Move at Kilaben Bay Reserve Playground, at the end of Jarrett Street, Kilaben Bay.

Church on the Move is all-age church beyond the building, relaxed, welcoming, and held out in the community. We’ll share a short time of worship, reflection, prayer, and conversation, followed by a picnic-style lunch and time together in the park.

Whether you come on your own, with family, children, friends, or neighbours, you are warmly welcome. There’s space for all ages and all stages of life.

Bring a chair or picnic rug, and something to share for lunch if you’re able. We’d love to see you there for a joyful time of faith, friendship, and community together! 💛

Our Men’s Ministry gathered on Thursday 7th May for another great morning of friendship, conversation, and community.

A special thank you to Keith McBurney for sharing about his recent trip to China. Keith’s presentation was filled with fascinating stories, history, and wonderful photos that gave everyone a glimpse into his travels and experiences.

It was a relaxed and enjoyable morning with plenty of good conversation over morning tea.

Our next Men’s Ministry gathering will be on Thursday 4th June in the Church Hall. All men are warmly welcome to come along, whether you’ve been before or are thinking about joining us for the first time.

What a fantastic afternoon we shared at our Fashion Parade last Monday! 🎉

With around 70 people attending, the hall was buzzing with fun, friendship, great food, and plenty of shopping with Donna Lou Fashions. There was lots of laughter, wonderful conversation, and a real sense of community throughout the day.

A huge thank you to our amazing team who worked so hard to make the day such a success from organising and setting up, to hospitality and all the behind-the-scenes jobs that helped everything come together so beautifully.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a joyful day! 💛

On Sunday 19th April, we gave thanks to Des and Kay for the many gifts they have shared during their time as part of our parish community at Toronto.

Through quiet faithfulness, generosity, and presence, they have helped shape who we are as a community. Their contribution has not just been in what they have done, but in who they have been among us.

Des and Kay have now moved, and while we will miss them, we are grateful that this is not a goodbye. They plan to visit from time to time on a Sunday morning, and we look forward to those moments of reconnection.

As they settle into this next chapter, we send them with our love and prayers, trusting that God goes with them, just as God has been with them here.
