Today is the start of National Child Protection - 6th to 12th September 2026.
The 2026 theme is Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action.
We continue to embrace the message that Every child, in every community, needs a fair go and every conversation matters.
Conversations can spark ideas, build understanding and encourage reflection. Real change happens when those conversations lead to practical steps that strengthen support for children, young people and families.

There is still time to register for Chaplains Training, with the option to attend either in person or online.
This training is open to both new and current Chaplains, as well as leaders who would like to better support the Chaplains. Representatives from Girls’ Brigade churches are also warmly encouraged to attend.
Please note that this training is designed for those involved in Girls’ Brigade Australia.
Date: 26 September 2026
Time: 10.00 am to 2.30 pm
Cost: $22 in person
