“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” - Psalm 118:1
With thanksgiving to our gracious and loving God, our Parish extends its heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the Egyptian Family Fair 2026.
Over the course of the weekend of 23-24 May, our Parish grounds were filled with joy, fellowship, service and the beautiful spirit of community. It was a blessed reminder that the light of Christ continues to shine through the love, unity and dedication of His people.
We sincerely thank every member of our congregation, every volunteer, every family and every supporter who gave so generously of their time, effort and talents. From preparation and cooking, to serving, organising, welcoming guests, assisting with activities, cleaning and working behind the scenes, each contribution played an important part in making the weekend a truly memorable occasion.
This year’s Fair marked a new record in the history of our Family Fair. Yet above all, its success is measured not simply by what was achieved, but by the spirit in which it was achieved: with love, humility, unity and service for the glory of God.
We also extend our sincere thanks to the beloved Clergy of the Diocese who attended and shared in the joy of the weekend with us. Their presence was a great blessing and encouragement to our Parish family.
We were also honoured by the warm visit of Imam Alaa El Zokm OAM, Imam of the El Sedeaq Mosque in Heidelberg, together with his family. We thank them sincerely for their kind presence and for sharing in this special community occasion.
A special word of appreciation is extended to our children and youth who served with such joy and enthusiasm throughout the Fair. Their love for service and their willingness to contribute reflect a bright and blessed future for the coming generations of our Church.
May God bless and reward every person who served, supported, attended and contributed in any way. We pray that the love and unity witnessed throughout this blessed weekend may continue to strengthen our Parish family and bear witness to Christ in our wider community!
