Dear Parishioners,

Please find attached the Newsletter for this weekend, which is the 17th Sunday of Pentecost.

We are also celebrating the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, with special Masses on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th September at 6.00pm.

The 6.00pm Mass on Sunday will be followed by the Holy Cross bonfire, organised by our Youth committee. We encourage everyone to come along and participate in this beautiful and blessed yearly tradition.

As we mentioned last week, we are beginning to prepare for the visit of the Relics of Saint Carlo Acutis to our Maronite Community. You can find the full program on page 3, beginning on Monday 5th October until Thursday 8th October.

Dear Parishioners,

I hope you are all well.

We are sharing with you this week’s Newsletter for the 16th Sunday of Pentecost, which includes a few activities and celebrations happening in our Church.

The 11.00am Mass this Sunday 6th September will be dedicated to all our fathers on Father’s Day. Following the Mass, we will gather in the youth centre for coffee and cake.

Also, on Tuesday 8th September at 6.00pm, the Saint Rafqa Ladies Prayer Group is organising an evening of prayer led by Father Richard (please see the flyer on page 2 for further details).

On Sunday 13th September at 6.00pm Mass, we will celebrate the Feast of The Exaltation of The Holy Cross, followed by the Holy Cross Bonfire (please see the flyer on page 2 for further details).

Finally, we are beginning to prepare for the visit of the Relics of Saint Carlo Acutis to our Maronite Community. You can find the full program on page 3, beginning on Monday 5th October until Thursday 8th October.
