“This is where we stand now – with hope rooted in the promise of the resurrection. It is a reminder that we can lay our burdens at the foot of the cross.”

Our final reflection together at the Lift Up Good Friday Night Walk inside St Francis Xavier Cathedral drew us into stillness and hope. As beautiful music filled the space, we were invited to pause, to breathe, and to bring everything we carry forward in faith.

In the gentle act of laying our candles at the foot of the cross, we entrusted our burdens, our prayers, and our hopes to God, knowing that we do not carry them alone.

Deeply grateful for this sacred moment, for the music that held us, and for a community willing to stand together in hope, trusting in the promise that new life is always possible.

COYYAs Lift Up, Good Friday Night Walk opened at the Mary MacKillop Plaza in the stillness of Good Friday, as we gathered in the weight and emptiness of the cross to reflect, and to choose trust, reconciliation, and hope for the journey ahead.

Deeply grateful for the many who showed up to hold space, walk together, and form community in the silence.

Thanks ! You were great 🥳

2 weeks ago we wrapped on the Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Melbourne and with Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to take a moment to pause and say a great big warm THANK YOU to every single Adelaide Pilgrim who brought with them their heart and spirit to this place.

YOU are what make ACYF so special, and we are so grateful, lucky, proud and blessed to be apart of this beautiful Adelaide community 🧡

What a special time to celebrate our youth and meet with so many amazing people on the way that we have crossed paths with before including Fr Josh with , , the entire crew from , the team at , and everyone who support us on the ground and back home from our Adelaide Archdiocese!! We love you all 🫶

And finally to every SINGLE young person, youth group, school, parish, and community that made the journey with us - there are too many of you to name!! - over 110 of us we are so grateful for you all.
