Rev. Simba in full throttle while he delivers his final sermon as rector of Tatura Anglican Church. Point being made: “Jesus is BIG.” May God continue to bless the seeds sown from his evangelism labours and preaching ministry.

Baptism is an exciting event in the life of the church. It is the visible, public profession of a person's faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Come along to our service at 930am today and witness God at work through baptism, Holy communion and the preaching of His word.

Week in week out we continue to receive encouragement from God’s word as it is read, preached and applied. We pray that God may give us sufficient grace to live out his word this week.

In 1858, John G. Paton and his wife set sail to the island of Tanna, in the southern part of the New Hebrides. It was dangerous to go to these islands. Friends and neighbours criticised the Patons for risking their lives. Just before they left, a respected elder chided the couple, "You will be eaten by cannibals!" To which Paton responded,
“Mr. Dickson, you are advanced in years now, and your own prospect is soon to be laid in the grave, there to be eaten by worms; I confess to you, that if I can but live and die serving and honoring the Lord Jesus, it will make no difference to me whether I am eaten by Cannibals or by worms.”

What a joy for all of us at All Saints today and for Cate. We celebrate and thank God for her baptism. For a number of days, Cate read the Bible on her own. She then understood that Jesus is the only Saviour in the world and responded by trusting him for salvation and followed him.
