We are delighted that the official launch of New Life Anglican Church, our local mission partners in Brighton, is taking place tomorrow Sunday 18 October.

Why the Jordan River Valley?

Because this is home.

We believe that church isn’t just about what happens inside a building on a Sunday. It’s about loving the people and places around us, showing up for our community and being part of the life of the place we call home.

We love the Jordan River Valley. We love the people who live here. And we’re excited about what God might do here.

So that’s why we’re planting New Life right here in Brighton High School, a growing hub for our community.

This year's topic: is creation care part of God's mission, or peripheral to it?

Anna Radkovic (CMS missionary, A Rocha Kenya) shares first-hand insight, with theological response from Revd Dr Wei-Han Kuan (Executive Director, CMS Victoria).

A helpful reflection on life today. J John writes about his experience in England, but I think the same applies to us here in Australia.

Thank you to The Times and Sunday Times for publishing my article ‘Why peace eludes us when everything is under control’

We studying the theme of joy in the Scriptures during this season of Lent in preparation for Easter. As the editor of the study booklet, Bishop Paul Barker, says: “Joy because we are grounded in gospel grace, in Christ, with an assured destiny with God.” We are encouraging every member to share with a friend each week one insight they gained from their reflection.
