A series of Talks in the Blue Cross Hall on Thursday nights in May, each starting at 6 pm with a light supper.

This series grew out of the idea that faith is rarely lived in the abstract. It is something people discover, question, and work out in the midst of their own lives — through their work, their experiences, and the paths they find themselves walking.

Over these evenings we’re inviting four people to share something of their own journey. Each of our speakers comes from a different context and each will reflect on how faith has intersected with their life along the way.

The aim of these gatherings is not debate, and it’s not about telling anyone what they should think or believe. Rather, it’s an opportunity to listen to someone’s story, reflect on the questions it raises, and then share in some open and respectful conversation
together.
