Honestly, it’s so easy to fall into the “performance” trap.
We want people to think we have our faith all figured out, that we are incredibly generous, or that we never struggle with doubt or life. We show the highlights and hide the messy parts.
But the story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that community only works when it’s built on real authenticity, not just appearances. God doesn’t need us to impress Him. He just wants our honest, surrendered hearts.

Getting baptised isn’t about becoming a Christian, it’s about showing everyone that you’ve already decided to follow Jesus! 🌊

It’s like saying, “I’m all in.” 💦

When you go under the water, it represents leaving your old life behind. When you come back up, it reminds us of the new life Jesus gives us through His death and resurrection.

Baptism is a way of celebrating what God has done, sharing your story, and taking the next step in following Jesus. 💧

“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

It is with sadness that we share the news that Graeme Rouillion has gone to be with the Lord.
Graeme faithfully served as Pastor of Taree Baptist Church during a significant season in our church family’s history, including the beginnings of MidCoast Christian College, then known as Taree Christian Community School. His leadership, faith, and vision helped lay foundations that continue to bless generations of students, families, and our wider community today.
Graeme and the Puppeteers brought joy, laughter, and the message of Jesus to countless children and families in classic 80’s style.
We thank God for Graeme’s life, ministry, and faithful service to Jesus. Our prayers are with his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
