Get Better (Not Bitter!)

Through the story of Naaman, we reflect on expectations we hold of God and consider how we are to be growing in Christ-likeness and not harbouring a bitter, callous heart.

Becoming Truly Human

In a culture increasingly engineered to treat people as objects or data points, Jesus demonstrates that sin i fundamentally a dehumanising force and offers a radical path to restore the "relational beauty" for which we were originally designed. Reclaiming our true humanity begins with rejecting dehumanisation and prioritising the urgent work of reconciliation.

"You Can't Do Away With The Law"

Matthew 5:17-20
Jesus fulfills the Law by revealing it's true intention - heart transformation, not mere rule-keeping. Righteousness that surpasses the Pharisees flows from an inward renewal by God's Spirit, not external compliance. The Law points to faithful living, and through grace, Jesus restores and reshapes hearts to genuinely love and obey God.

Who Is The Blessed? Part 2
'The Beatitudes'
Jesus' beatitudes reveal the Kingdom's countercultural values - where mercy, purity, peacemaking, and endurance in persecution are truly blessed. These reflect God's own character and call us to live differently from the world. As the Kingdom confronts our hearts, yielding to Jesus transforms us into people who embody His reconciling, merciful reign.

Who Is The Blessed?
The Beatitudes - Matthew 5:1-6
Jesus' beatitudes reveal present-tense blessings for those the world overlooks - the poor, grieving, humble and justice-seeking. They expose the upside-down nature of God's kingdom, where true flourishing belongs not to the powerful, but to the broken, showing God's heart to restore, comfort, and exalt them now.

Jesus sends His disciples to look for "people of peace", those who are open, welcoming, and receptive to both them and the message of the Kingdom. These individuals become relational gateways through whom the gospel spreads naturally into wider networks, rather than through forced or scattered efforts. Our role is to discern where God is already at work and partner with those who are ready to receive and multiply that work.

Prayer Sunday | 12/04/26

In prayer, we turn again to the God who saved us
not by our strength, but by His grace.
We come empty, we receive, we trust - just like the beginning.
Every prayer is a quiet re-enactment of salvation.

Easter Sunday Gathering at Gracehouse | 05/04/26

He was broken for us

laid in silence, the weight of love poured out.

And on the third day, life rose again — forever victorious.

29/03/26 | Sunday Gathering

We stepped into the upside-down beauty of the Kingdom, where the poor in spirit are held, the mourning are comforted, and the meek inherit more than this world could ever offer.

Jesus met us again in the low place — where emptiness becomes openness, grief becomes holy ground, and surrender becomes strength.

Here, the blessed are not the polished, but the hungry; not the powerful, but the yielded.

“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.“
