St Paul's Anglican Church Tamworth

St Paul's Anglican Church Tamworth St Paul's Anglican Church is located in West Tamworth and is part of the Anglican Armidale Diocese. Relevance without compromising reverence.

Service times:

10am Sundays: A contemporary service where we aim to teach the Bible in a stimulating and engaging way, making much of the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ as well as touching on how we should respond and relate to him. We have something for all the family, including a regular Kids’ Spot as well as a Kids Church program for pre-school age through to year 10. We also have mo

rning tea straight after the service.

5pm Sundays: A more relaxed contemporary service that believes the relevance of Jesus in our lives today. We’re made up of a diverse age range from high school to retirees. The time of the service allows for many of us to eat together afterwards.

10am Wednesdays: A traditional Anglican service with The Lord’s Supper every week. We follow the form set out by the Australian Prayer Book devoting time to readings from Scripture, beautifully written prayers, hymns and a sermon. The mood is reverent and reflective but also warm and welcoming as we share morning tea together each week. Services to run for about 50 minutes.

As we gather this Easter at St Paul’s and St Luke’s we are going to be considering the claim,
“…if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

What hope for renewal and acceptance can we truly have through Jesus Christ?

We’d love to welcome you to come and join us as we consider this together.

It was lovely to see many of the participants finishing 2025 by joining together for Christmas lunch and a time of considering God's love for us in Jesus Christ.
"Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry. He who puts his trust in Me will never be thirsty." John 6:35

Our 5pm service had the best time a few weeks ago at Nundle for their annual weekend away! What a stunning place to enjoy the weekend together! We loved hearing from Sherro as he taught us from the book of 2 Peter and it was incredible to hear how God has been at work in people's lives as they shared their testimony. Check out some highlights from our time away!

Some highlights from our men's bbq & footy night 'the other day'. What a fun night as men from Tamworth & Loomberah, young and old all spent some time hanging out! Matt, from our night service, shared how Jesus has changed his life and it sparked some great chats! We watched some NRL, AFL, Hockey and the sport highlight was definitely the recap video of Tamworth basketball's grade C men's game - incredible stuff!

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Last week we gathered to bring our requests before our God who hears! Our prayer night was uplifting for us all as we prayed personally to our God, for our world and for the many ministries in our region. We'd love to see you at the next one!
