189th NSW West Tamworth Boys' & Girls' Brigades The 189th NSW West Tamworth Boys' and Girls' Brigade Companies are part of Tamworth Community Presby

Boys' and Girls' Brigades are youth organisations specifically for Boys and Girls aged from 5-18 years of age. Providing fun, challenge & adventure for all school-aged Boys and Girls, BB and GB trains and empowers young people for effective leading & mission impact in their world today. With an unashamedly Christian foundation, BB and GB has a proven track record for reaching out and providing mentoring programs for Boys and Girls of all backgrounds, abilities & interests - broadening their horizons and skills with international recognition for their achievements. BB has 3 sections:
- Anchors (5 to 7 years)
- Juniors (7 to 12 years)
- Seniors (12 to 18 years)

GB has 4 sections:
- Cadets (5 to 7 years)
- Juniors (8 to 11 years)
- Seniors (12 to 14 years)
- Pioneers (15 to 18 years)

All Sections run programs of educational, physical, social and spiritual activities suited to the particular age groups. The Companies meet at 5.30pm on Thursday afternoons during school terms at Tamworth South Public School hall, Woodward Avenue, South Tamworth, NSW.
