Disciples of Jesus Community Sydney South Disciples of Jesus is a Covenant Community which God has raised up through the work of His Holy Spirit within the Catholic Church.

We are the Sydney South branch of the community. We are a body of families, singles and religious who have come together under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to live a common life of prayer, sharing and service. We believe that God calls us to form deep and lasting relationships with one another. Supporting one another in all aspects of our lives and faith, and in so doing, reflect His love to others around us.

DOJ South Sydney’s celebration meal was truly a blessing — a beautiful time of breaking bread, sharing from the overflowing cup, and reliving the Scriptures as we proclaimed God’s Word together.

We rejoiced in the warmth of community, gathered as brothers and sisters in Christ, united in faith and gratitude.

May abundant blessings be with everyone this coming Holy Week, as we journey together toward the joy and hope of the Risen Christ.

We are so blessed and honoured to have Fr Josh Whicker, celebrating Charismatic Mass on 15th March 2026, 3pm Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Peakhurst followed by Thomas & Melissa Kingsley, Janis & Annalise Lisboa, Wendi Darmawan and Matt & Deborah Humphreys taking their Underway Commitment in the DOJSS branch and Sunny & Anti Fernandez will be committing to live in Covenant with our brothers and sisters in the Disciples of Jesus Covenant community, with an afternoon tea celebration at the hall.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor.
