NBC Youth is all about building real friendships, learning about Jesus and enjoying fun activities. When? Every Friday night of school term, 6-8 pm. What?

Please join us this Friday for youth group as we continue in our Two ways to live series. Youth group runs 6-8pm on Fridays and we’re located at North Curl Curl Community centre. Youth group is for students in years 7-12. Hopefully see you there!

Every term, we spend time exploring and engaging in incredible material that really changes lives.

When I was 18, my life was totally transformed in the most surprising and wonderful way. I never thought in a million years that change would happen because of Jesus. I think I had been seduced into thinking that Jesus was a boring, religious dude who said some good things but was totally irrelevant to my life. How wrong I was!

Join us as we unpack Colossians, revealing the most relevant and truly amazing Jesus.

NBC Youth are looking at the exciting and transformational letter of 1 Thessalonians.

Jesus changed lives back in the first century. But what does a changed life look like now? What does life look like when you have faith in Jesus, love for others and a solid hope for the future? We will be delving into all these topics with heaps of practical and helpful wisdom from the Bible and we would love for you to join us.

Friday Fun is for anyone who is currently in high school and wants to enjoy some good times together, and it’s free! There’ll be outdoor games, music, a sausage sizzle and a Bible talk. If the weather is good, a quick dip is popular so bring your swimmers if you’re keen.

We are so excited about our new series on truth that changes us. We will be looking at amazing topics and asking the question “do you believe this”? Not just believing it intellectually but grasping it in such a way that it changes how we live. For example, the Bible teaches us that God loves his people but what does that mean when we really ‘get’ that God loves us individually and personally? How will that truth change us when we believe it? We are looking forward to an engaging, action-packed term as we look at life-changing truths that come from Jesus.

NBC Youth will be meeting at the usual place Friday 5 July BUT at 4 pm - 6.30 pm for our last get together for this term.

We're finishing off our Hot Topics session, addressing wisdom in friendship, part 2.

NBC Youth have been having a great term and it has been encouraging seeing many new young people attending!

We have now finished looking at the book of Job. It was helpful to ask some big questions and look at the answers the Bible gives to the person going through suffering.

For the remainder of the term, we will delve into some ‘Hot Topics’ where we will look at things like dealing with anxiety, dating and being a good friend etc. See you Friday at 6pm!
