❤️ HELP BUILD A NEW HOME FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITY

For more than 40 years, the Senta Bilong Helpim (Centre of Help) in Vanimo, Papua New Guinea, has been a place of care, dignity, friendship and hope for children and young adults living with disability and their families.

Today, the Senta needs a new home. The existing centre is no longer safe or fit for purpose, and the ministry has been interrupted.

A new site has been provided by the Diocese of Vanimo, and plans are ready for a new centre where children can receive therapy, families can find support, and young people with disability can develop skills and opportunities for the future.

🏫 The project will cost $600,000.
❤️ $300,000 has already been secured.
🙏 Now we need to raise the remaining $300,000.

This is more than a building project. It is about saying to a child and their family:
You matter.
You belong.
You will not be forgotten.

Here's a bit of a look at how our Assembly last week in Việt Nam went! An exciting and hope-filled journey towards the Chapter in 2027 has begun. Assembly 2 starts tomorrow in Melbourne.

Preparations for the Holy Spirit Province Chapter (2027) are officially underway, with the theme, "Towards New Horizons." The first of two Assemblies took place in our community of St Paul's in Hồ Chí Minh, Việt Nam. It was an experience of unity and dialogue, exploring both the challenges, but also opportunities that exist in our province's current reality, and how we would like to plan for the coming 5 years. Next week will be the second Assembly in Melbourne, Australia!
