What a blessed and joyful Sunday we had at Abbotsbury!

Yesterday’s service was beautifully led by our children and young adults, bringing so much life, energy, and faith as they led us in worship and participated fully in the service. It was a powerful reminder of the hope and future we have in the next generation of the church.

We were also deeply encouraged by a powerful message shared by Rev Geoff Stevenson, Chairperson of PNP. A special highlight was his contribution through music as well, playing saxophone and guitar, which added a unique and meaningful touch to our time of worship.

We give thanks as we also celebrated 49 years of the Uniting Church of Australia, reflecting on God’s faithfulness through the decades.

Special thanks to our music team for their wonderful leadership and contribution, guiding us into a beautiful and uplifting time of praise and worship.

The day continued with a wonderful community lunch, filled with great fellowship, laughter, and connection across all ages.

We thank God for everyone who came, served, and made the day such a special celebration of church and community life.

Many families and friends have been touched by cancer in one way or another. This morning is an opportunity for us to come together in compassion, support, and encouragement for those affected by cancer.

❤️ Community, friendship, and support

Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, everyone is welcome.

What a beautiful and blessed service we shared today at Abbotsbury Uniting Church as we celebrated Raul and Lita’s 45th Wedding Anniversary together as one church family. ❤️
It was so special to see so many family members, friends, and loved ones gathered together to honour their journey of love, faith, commitment, and dedication to one another over the past 45 years.
A very special thank you to Pastor Mike De Guzman and his lovely wife for sharing an encouraging message and for singing the beautiful hymn “O Perfect Love” — the very same hymn sung on Raul and Lita’s wedding day 45 years ago. It truly touched many hearts and made the celebration even more meaningful and emotional.
We are also so grateful to everyone who helped make the day special — those who prepared food, decorated, served, cleaned, organised, contributed towards lunch, and supported in so many ways. The fellowship around the lunch tables was filled with laughter, memories, love, and joy. It was a wonderful reminder that church is not just a place we attend, but a family we belong to.
Thank you, church family, for your love, unity, generosity, and support. May God continue to bless Raul and Lita with good health, happiness, strength, and many more precious years together. 🙏❤️

Today at Abbotsbury Uniting Church we celebrated a very special Mother’s Day Service led beautifully by our young adults. 🌸

A special thank you to James Sanjivi for leading the service, and to Troy, Karen, Isaac, Jordon, Cathy, Abigail, and Chase for their wonderful participation and contribution in making the service so meaningful and special.

One of the highlights of the morning was the beautiful hymn dedicated to all mothers by Rahul, which touched many hearts. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Abigail for blessing the service with her beautiful piano playing, adding warmth and beauty to the celebration. 🎹

Following the service, everyone enjoyed a lovely fellowship morning tea, along with gifts and hampers shared with our mothers.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special and memorable. ❤️🙏🏻

What a beautiful and joy-filled Easter Sunday at Abbotsbury Uniting Church! 🌸✝️
We gathered to celebrate the risen Christ with a meaningful service, followed by a wonderful time of fellowship over lunch. There was so much laughter and connection as we enjoyed games together, and it was a delight to share in the many gifts, prizes, and giveaways.
Thank you to everyone who came and made the day so special. It was truly a celebration of hope, community, and new life in Christ!
