City Bible Forum City Bible Forum creates the spaces and opportunities in the workplace to ask the bigger questions The gospel changes our whole life.

What we hear at church on Sundays spills over into our everyday practice. For many, that includes our life at work! City Bible Forum brings workers together —across industries and career stages; in cities, towns and suburbs— to pray about and practice being salt and light on the frontlines. Who helps you keep going as a Christian at work?

Having people who pray with you, encourage you and remind you of the bigger picture can make all the difference.
That's why we're passionate about connecting Christians and helping them live for Jesus in the places they spend their week.

Before we ever have a conversation about Jesus, our colleagues see how we work.

How we respond to pressure.
How we speak to people.
How we handle disappointment.
How we treat the person everyone else ignores.
Our words matter — but so does the life surrounding them.

Before the plans, the strategies and the conversations — prayer.
Prayer reminds us that the work of sharing Jesus doesn’t depend on us alone. We can ask God for wisdom, courage, opportunities and open hearts in the places He has put us.
“Prayer should be at the centre of what we are doing.”
Who could you be praying for in your workplace this week?

A conversation can be more significant than we realise.

A question over lunch. A colleague sharing what they believe. An opportunity to listen. A conversation about Jesus.
We want to help Christians feel equipped to have meaningful conversations about faith in their everyday workplaces.

The mental load can feel invisible — but the weight of it is very real.
In this episode of Her Work: Reframed by Jesus, Caroline Spencer is joined by Larissa, a psychologist and mum of four teenagers, to explore the mental load and the question: how do we carry less?
Together, they unpack the pressures we carry, the needs competing for our attention, and how we can approach them with wisdom and a perspective shaped by Jesus.

Weather. Weekend plans. The coffee machine.

How many conversations with our colleagues stay at surface level?
Meaningful conversations don't have to begin with a perfectly crafted question about Jesus.

Listen. Be curious. Ask another question. Take an interest in what matters to the person in front of you.

And see where the conversation goes.

Growing as an evangelist isn't something you have to do alone.
At EvQ, we believe growing in confidence to share Jesus happens best when you're surrounded by people who encourage, equip and challenge you.
That's why our programmes are built around a community of evangelists.
Through one-on-one mentoring, peer groups, experienced trainers, guest speakers and an alumni community, you'll have opportunities to learn from those who live and breathe evangelism.
It's more than training. It's a community helping you take your next step in sharing Jesus.
Unlock your reach in 2027.
Applications for our Natural & Public Evangelist Programmes are now open.
Early bird closes 31 October. Find out more through the link in our bio.
