The Healing Inn is for the whole man:- *Spiritual (salvation & deliverance) *Emotional * Physical & for all people.OUR GOAL is to train & equip people to operate effectively in healing & to see our community helped. BACKGROUND: March 2012 was our last meeting of the CCR (Catholic Charismatic Renewal) at the previous venue. We decided to move when several circumstances arose, and after some searchi
ng for another venue, we came to The Welcome Centre at Wakeley. When we agreed upon this venue, I felt the Holy Spirit indicate He wanted to get into the community. I felt the name CCR was too restrictive for this new direction because it indicated we only wanted Catholics to attend, so after very little thought, the name `The Healing Inn’ came, indicating it would be more appropriate to our new call to access the community, and so our first meeting was in April. The prophet Isaiah said about Jesus (53:4-5 KJV) Surely he has;
[1] he has borne our griefs, and
[2] he has carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. {5}
[3] he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
[4] he was bruised for our iniquities:
[5] upon him was the chastisement of our peace; and
[6] with his stripes we are healed. This Healing is for the whole man;
* spiritual (salvation & deliverance), * mental, * emotional, * physical, and for all people. OUR GOAL: to train & equip people to operate effectively in healing, & see our community helped. PERSPECTIVE: - Wholeness - Re ten lepers healed;
(Luke 17:17-19 KJV) And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed (healed)? but where are the nine? {18} There are not found that returned to give glory to God, except this stranger. {19} And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Nine were physically cleansed (healed) but only one (a Samaritan) was healed + made whole. The healing of spiritual, mental & emotional `scars’ is imperative for effective service. INSIGHT - Jesus didn’t just `talk’ the gospel, HE DEMONSTRATED the gospel
(Luke 7:19-22 KJV) And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
{20} When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying,
Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
----- This is the question all the world wants to know the answer to -----
{21} And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. {22} Then Jesus answering (John the Baptist`s question via these two disciples) said unto them,
Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that
the blind see,
the lame walk,
the lepers are cleansed,
the deaf hear,
the dead are raised,
to the poor the gospel is preached.
[this demonstration is `because the spirit of the Lord is upon me’ – Luke 4:14-19]
Under this commission He sent out the twelve – Matthew 10:7-8
Under this commission He sent out the seventy – Luke 10:9, 17
Under the great commission He sent out the believers, (Mark 16:15-20 KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. {16} He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. {17} And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; {18} They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. {20} So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. {20} And they went forth, and preached every where, [the result?] the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. In Acts 1:1 He `passed the baton’ to the church, to continue what He `began both to DO and to TEACH’, saying, wait till you be endued with power, – (v8) then go – continuing what He had begun, because the spirit of the Lord is to be upon you. This `demonstrating the gospel’ has NEVER been rescinded by the Head of the Church, only by carnal teachings of men, the doctrines of men & doctrines of devils, to hide or excuse their lack of power. PRACTICAL OUTWORKING of the above direction in the New structure of the Healing inn:
Instruction
Understanding the difference between miracles & healings
How to maintain your healing
Speaking to the condition. The five fold ministry (Eph.4) and the nine gifts of the spirit (1 Cor.12). Training every person on how to heal the sick, as well as preaching / teaching. training in their own giftings, to allow there giftings to flourish
Faith building
Keeping our faith `up’, and `growing’ your faith. We need to share the experiences, that we have seen etc the miracles that we have encountered throughout our ministry. Workshop –
into pairs or small groups to practice, to overcome embarrassment in applying ourselves to the current situation. How to `hold an interview’, ie gathering relevant information, eg is this a medical condition, or a demonic condition, or a `heritage condition’ (inherited curse), prior to ministry action.
* RESOURCE MATERIAL We need to offer resources, eg
