Baptism is beautiful.
Not because of the water, but because of what it means.
It’s not a religious ritual you go through. It’s a bold, public declaration that your old life is gone and a new life has begun. The past doesn’t define you anymore. Shame, sin, and brokenness don’t get the final word.
You go under the water and it’s like burying the old you. You come up and it’s a picture of new life, a new identity, a new beginning in Jesus.
This is what it means to be made new. Not improved, not fixed up, but completely transformed.
