WorldShare is a community of believers passionate about showing and sharing the love of Jesus. Jesus came to give life - life to the full.

Our purpose is to see lives transformed and hope restored across the world through education, health and sharing the gospel. And yet across the world, so many people are suffering in poverty. The most vulnerable are outcast and forgotten, living without a sense of worth or hope. Our approach is partnership-driven. We come alongside locally-run Christian organisations that are creating life-changing opportunities for the world’s most vulnerable and marginalised people. We listen rather than lead, providing resources, expertise, and prayer support to help bring their God-given vision for their community to life. Our goal is to combine best-practice aid and development with passionate Christian faith so that Christian organisations around the world are effective, resilient, and can bring about lasting change for their communities.

We often hear about global mission from a distance, through newsletters, reports and appeal letters. But lasting change is personal, local and close at hand.

This November, we’d love you to come Up Close.

It’s rare for our ministry partners to visit Australia, so we’re thrilled that our partner from Indonesia is making the journey to share what’s really happening on the ground, and to say thank you in person.

Come and hear the stories, the honest challenges and the long-term vision shaping communities across Indonesia, Cambodia, India, DR Congo and Uganda. Enjoy some delicious food, ask your questions and see what we’ve achieved together.

Every year, one of our favourite traditions is seeing the heartwarming Christmas letters written by our sponsored children.

It is such a special time for both sponsor and child—a chance to bridge miles, share personal stories and milestones from the past year, and nurture a bond that brings hope and encouragement to both sides.

To all our wonderful sponsors: your child’s Christmas letter is on its way! Keep an eye out for a little extra joy arriving in the mail over the coming days. ❤️

Staff Picks for Father’s Day 🎁

Looking for a meaningful gift for a dad with green thumbs? In the final part of our staff series, we have the perfect inspiration for you!

Meet Monica, our Sponsorship Administration Officer, who chose Fruit Tree Seeds:

"I chose Fruit Tree Seeds because my dad loves gardening at home—he and mum grow fresh fruit and veggies that they often share with their community. He would feel so blessed knowing this gift helps a family overseas grow their own food, earn an income, and build a sustainable future."

This Father’s Day, honour what your dad loves with a gift that continues to grow and nourish for years to come.
