MUSIC LIST FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER

Have you ever wondered what music we have in store for us in our choral services at Christ Church St Laurence?

Look no further than the monthly music list on our website, found here: https://ccsl.org.au/music

While there are very occasional refinements or changes as it comes closer to each date, this list prepared by our music staff is how our choristers plan and work ahead in order to prepare this element of the worship to its continuous high standard.

A musical journey from lamentation to joy, from darkness into light.

Join the Choir of St Paul’s College for an evening of choral music spanning four centuries, from Gesualdo’s anguished O vos omnes to Pärt, Walton’s Jubilate and Jonathan Dove’s Seek Him that maketh the seven stars. Saxophonist Ryan Piccione joins us for a Nunc Dimittis for choir and saxophone.

Directed by Dr Jack Stephens, with David Drury and Bailey Yeates, organ.

MISSION AND OUTREACH
You will be amazed to know what just a months' supply of packaged snacks for our verger program looks like at Christ Church St Laurence! This is just some of the food we share every week day at no cost to the hungry. We also have several flavours of sandwiches, and often fruit or pastries.

In the photo below we have over two hundred muesli bars, cup noodles, cheese snacks, and a kilo tin of instant coffee. One muesli bar might be the only thing the person next to you has eaten today. This is why any donation small and great makes such a difference in our community.
